Ms Jenny
Hi dancers! I’m Jenny, and I’m so excited to dance with you this season. I can’t wait to inspire your dancer and watch their confidence, skills, and joy grow each week. Dance has been part of my life since age three, leading me to study both business and dance at Marquette University. From community recreational programs and collegiate student-led groups to professional performance, my journey has always centered on creating meaningful, positive dance experiences. JB Dance Studio was built to be a place where dancers feel supported, encouraged, and excited to grow—both on and off the dance floor.
My Promise
I promise to create a space where your dancer feels known, supported, and inspired to be the best version of themselves. JB Dance Studio is more than a place to dance—it’s a place of home and family, where meaningful connections come first. I am committed to continually learning and growing so I can bring thoughtful, high-quality instruction to every class. Your dancer will be supported through challenges, celebrated through growth, and guided with care—growing in confidence, kindness, and a genuine love for dance. You can expect open communication, thoughtful connections, and a joyful learning environment—so your dancer grows with confidence, kindness, and a genuine love for dance.

Ms Lyssa
Hello! My name is Lyssa and I am proud to be a core member of the JBD family. I love to dance and can’t wait to share that with you this season! The dance studio can truly be a second home; it brings me joy to help all dancers find new strength, confidence and artistry in a safe space. My own dance journey began at three, took me to UW Madison and has led me to teach & choreograph for many styles, levels & ages. I believe in strong dance foundations, lifelong learning and that classes should be fun and enriching. Every dancer deserves a chance to grow and shine.
My Promise
I promise to bring joy to each and every class your dancer takes. We will celebrate the movement, our individuality and creative spirit. We will tell ourselves that “We can do hard things” because class builds more than a skill set. Dance supports our whole self. I promise to continue to learn, to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the studio. Ultimately, I promise to be a caring and compassionate dance teacher.
Lead Instructor
Miss Leana
Hi! My name is Leana Alvarez, and I’m so excited to be an instructor at JB Dance Studio. Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I love sharing the joy of movement with every dancer in my class. I’m especially excited to teach your dancer and watch them grow in confidence, skill, and creativity. Each class is filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful moments that help dancers feel happy, supported, and excited to keep growing.
My Promise
I promise to make dance class a happy place where we have fun, learn, and feel proud of ourselves. I will cheer you on, help you try your best, and believe in you as both a dancer and a person. I will make sure you feel welcome, safe, and special every time you walk through the door. In our class, we will be kind to each other, work together, and celebrate our progress. Most of all, I promise to help you be creative, express yourself, and dance with your whole heart.
